Hemera recently participated in the prestigious European program EIC Accelerator, promoted by the European Commission to support high-impact technological innovation on an international scale. Our application focused on the REMaST project, First Regenerative Medicine to Restore Mobility in Spinal Cord Injuries, a highly innovative therapy in the field of regenerative medicine for the treatment of spinal cord injuries.

In an extremely competitive context, with a success rate dropping from 7% to 4%, Hemera’s project stood out for the excellence of its evaluations, reaching the final interview stage in Brussels as one of only 7 Italian companies admitted.

Following the evaluation by an international panel of independent experts, Hemera received the Seal of Excellence, the official recognition from the European Commission certifying the project’s high scientific quality and potential impact.

Although direct funding was not granted due to budget constraints, the project was recommended for future resubmission or access to alternative funding sources, confirming its strategic value.

This result marks an important milestone for Hemera, which continues its journey of research, innovation, and internationalization with determination.
