Gianfranco Bellezza

Gianfranco Bellezza graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan and began his career at Niguarda Hospital. He later gained research experience in pharmacology and surgery before moving into sales and development roles at major medical companies like Teleflex and J&J Orthopedics. In 1994, he co-founded several innovative American medical companies, igniting his passion for medical entrepreneurship. With 35 years of experience, he has founded multiple medical device companies and advised on clinical development, regulatory validation, and marketing. Specializing in diverse fields such as oncology, orthopedics, and cellular therapies, he has co-founded 18 companies, served as CEO for 6, and contributed to successful exits valued between 300 M € and 800 M €. He also mentors’ healthcare startups at Unicredit StartLab.
