During her speech, Cristiana Vignoli addressed the challenges of translating scientific research into concrete clinical development pathways, focusing on the role of advanced therapies and regenerative medicine in the treatment of high unmet medical need conditions such as spinal cord injuries.
Particular attention was given to the development journey of the REMaST® platform, Hemera’s regenerative cell therapy currently progressing toward clinical stages, as well as topics such as industrial scalability, regulatory strategies, and the development of sustainable innovation models in the biotech sector.
The initiative also represented an important opportunity for dialogue with the academic community and university students involved in the format, within a context aimed at promoting innovation culture, applied research, and technological entrepreneurship.
Hemera’s participation reflects a growing focus on regenerative technologies and advanced cell therapies, at a time when the interaction between research, industry, capital, and institutions is becoming increasingly central to the development of future therapeutic solutions.
